Virtual Idol

When I used the Adobe muse to create the website is the most tough process I met. I have asked the tutor for help repeatedly and I finished the website under the guidance of tutor. I always failed when I uploaded the video and music but I could not find out the error. I entered the HTML code according to the tutorial video but it still failed. And then through the careful check of tutor, we discovered the reason is the quotes are different in font and the space of name of video finally. After changed the font of quotes and deleted the space of name, the video and music could be uploaded successfully. And then I created different directions for the scroll effects so the first thing I did was I cut up the image into nine pieces and I met the image a square. After that I selected all of these squares and I was going to click hold and drag and place onto the Adobe Muse website and pieced them together. The following I needed to click motion and adjust the different directions like from the top to the bottom or from left to right at a diagonal angle. I tried many times to check these motion tracks are correct and fixed.

After watching my final video tutor thought my 3D butterfly is not well and can be improved. He suggested me to make the 3D butterfly as covered in the workshops at level 1. But I want to get more new elements and learn new technology. So through studied the tutorial video at Youtube I added C4D into my butterfly scene based on the workshop at level 1.

I finished the video according to the feedback of target audiences. I added the name of video, group and members in opening of video. The length of the video is two minutes and thirty seconds which just cooperates with background music.

I put the final video on my SNS to show the K-pop fans and got a lot of praise, and the comments also continues to grow. But I can’t understand some of the foreign language, I can use Google Translate to translate them.

I showed the video to my some Korean friends and classmates, and got feedback from my target audience and I translated the Korean comments. Based on these feedback I will improve and finish my project. Here are a few more ideas to consider. I need to think about the name of video and add it into the video includes the name of group and members. That is in order to help the audience more easily and clearly understand them. And about the transition between the frames, because this is just a semi-finished product I did not use transition but there will be in final product. I also will learn more technology to create new frames and make the content of video more rich.

I used particular to make the smog and smoke in After Effects with different color. That is in order to imitate the effect of the smoke stick in character’s hand.

I learned many tutorial video and created realistic fireworks in After Effects which is very difficult, so I spent a lot of time. I made different types of fireworks and then combined all together.

I created two effects of 3D sunlight and made them has different process of movement to match different scenes.
